Trustee Board

We shall take heed to ourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made us overseers, to care for the Churchof God, which he obtained with the blood of His own Son. ”

Acts 20:28

 

The Trustee Board serves as legal representative of the church in all transactions to assure continuation and protection of ECOD‘s assets and programs.  The office of Trustee is not biblical but a necessary one for the effective operation of the church body.

 

Standards

 

  1. Possess good Christian character and are members in good standing, as fitting the Office of Deacon.  It is from this body that future Deacons are selected.
  2. Have sound fiscal integrity and the ability to safeguard all financial information

 

Duties

 

  1. Oversee and maintain the physical structure of the church
  2. Custodians of the church papers and property but can only exercise the power vested in them by a vote of the church
  3. Support the Pastor and the vision of the ministry
