Women's Flag

Lift up a banner on the high mountains, Raise your voice to them; Wave your hand that they enter the gates of the nobles. Isaiah 13:2
We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will set up our banners: THE Lord fulfill all thy petitions. Psalms 20:5
Flags, as well as banners, are used in worship to exalt Jesus and His name before men and also before the powers of darkness. During worship or during ministry time, our flags proclaim the dominion of God’s Kingdom and mark our Spiritual territory. They also served to invite and usher in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The flag makes a proclamation before heaven and earth, angels and demons and represents “raising the standard” to rally the troops in spiritual unity.
Flags are used in worship to:
- Bestow Honor – to declare an aspect of God’s character. As we wave it, we minister in love to our King and proclaim the magnificence of who He is
- Communicate- in worship, the flag may be speaking the heart of the people towards God, or God’s heart towards His people. It declares His awesome power, reminds Him, and us of His eternal word and covenant promises.
- To Signal God’s Presence-Lifting flags in worship follows the action of Moses as he lifted his rod (a spiritual type or symbol of the flag) as a visible sign of God’s presence, power, and authority over the armies of Israel
- Declare Our Allegiance-As we wave our flags in worship, we admit our loyalty as members of our Lord’s army in the presence of men on earth and before powers and principalities in the heavens
- To Rally The Troops-Raising a flag stirs unity and loyalty and strengthens commitment to victory
- To Direct Warfare & Praise-in warfare, the flag proclaims the Kingdom of God, and declares our authority over the powers of darkness.
- To Boast of Victory- We raise our flags in victory as we go into battle, giving honor to the One who has already won all our battles
- To Be a Touch Point of Faith-flags serve the Body of Christ as a visual reminder of His faithfulness as Jehovah Rophe
