FROM THE PASTOR

It is with great joy to introduce you to our church and its website! You will discover that our passion is to provide a place where people, just like you, can have a life-changing experience with God.
At Evangelistic Church of Deliverance, our doors and hearts are open to people from all walks of life, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We know and believe that we need God and each other to fulfill our God-divine destinies. Come as you are and enjoy our spirit-filled worship services that offer biblical truths that can be applied in your everyday lives.
We are a church built on the foundation of faith and love by our founder, the late Bishop William H. Cheek, Sr. and his wife, Mother Lucille P. Cheek. It will not take you long to discover that we are more than just a Sunday morning church. We are committed to serving others and developing authentic and lasting relationships. We do this through our network of small/life groups such as the Men’s and Women’s Ministries, Hospitality Ministry, and Outreach Ministry, just to name a few. You’ll be glad to know that there are opportunities for everyone to join in and begin to serve. We are striving to become the church that God has called us to be, where there is down to earth teaching, heart-felt worship, wholesome friendships, constant prayer and compassion for those in need. Our desire is to promote a contagious Christian lifestyle that will influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time. So, whether you’re just starting to ask questions about God, or you are a committed Christian who wants to join another group of like-minded Christians, you can find a home here at Evangelistic Church of Deliverance. In the meantime, you will be able to find information here to get connected to ECOD through our online resources.
Enjoy and please contact us if you have any questions.
God bless you,
Dr. Clarence L. Harris, Sr. and Minister Charman L. Harris

“Honour the LORD with thy substance,
and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:” Proverbs 3:9 KJV |
"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."
James 5: 14-15 KJV |
